SIFE Saskatchewan is non-profit student organization based in the Edwards School of Business that develops impactful economic development programs. We are an affiliate of the National organization Advancing Canadian Entrepreneurship ACE and the International organization Students In Free Enterprise SIFE.

Organizational Structure

SIFE Saskatchewan has six branches. Each branch is designed to either design and implement economic development programs that fulfill the SIFE criteria or provide vital support for those that do.

The Community branch is the branch focused on economic development through community outreach. It is the main branch responsible for building and running programs to meet the seven SIFE criteria.

The entrepreneurship branch supports entrepreneurs in starting their own business or gaining business skills by operating a SIFE Saskatchewan born venture. The focus is on giving aspiring, developing and aboriginal entrepreneurs an entrepreneurial skill set through the development of a self sufficient business.

Development is a support branch for the organization. The functions of this branch mainly lie internally: recruitment & hiring, running meetings, providing a channel for internal communications, as well as organizing team building activities, sessions, and events.

Promotions is a support branch for the organization. The main functions of the branch are maintaining the general public image of SIFE Saskatchewan and the marketing of our events and programs.

Corporate Partnerships is a support branch for the organization. The main function of the branch is creating and maintaining value-driven partnerships in the community.

The Finance branch, quite obviously, deals with the finances of SIFE Saskatchewan. They take care of budgeting and cash flows and oversee any legal issues.
